The Innovative Medicines program was launched in 2020This is the result of the joint work of the Institute of Pharmacy named after A.P. Nelyubin of Sechenov University and the University of Burgundy Franche-Comté, France. Leading scientists and expert practitioners from leading pharmaceutical companies of the two countries took part in the creation of the program.

During the existence of the program, our undergraduates have performed a number of advanced scientific research on the basis of Sechenov University, the University of Burgundy Franche-Comte, leading research centers such as the SSC "Institute of Immunology" FMBA, NMIC of Oncology named after N.N. Blokhina, FGBNU "FITZ of Original and Promising Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Technologies", the Pasteur Institute, France, the University of Strasbourg, France, the Sorbonne, France and others, launched their own startups, receiving grants from the grants from the Foundation for the Promotion of Innovation. The best undergraduates receive scholarships from the President of the Russian Federation and the Potanin Foundation. The program is being developed and updated annually, and an annual examination of the program is carried out by industrial and scientific partners of the program We train specialists with a new level of competence, capable not only of conducting fundamental and applied research in the field of drug development, but also capable of independent project activities, bringing a drug to the market and legal support for its further circulation.
