The "Innovative Drugs" program was launched in 2020. This is the result of a joint work of the A. P. Nelyubin Institute of Pharmacy of Sechenov University and the University of Burgundy Franche-Comté, France. The program was developed with the participation of leading scientists and experts from leading pharmaceutical companies in two countries. The best master's students have the opportunity to undertake internships at leading foreign universities.

During the program, our master's students have conducted cutting-edge research at Sechenov University, University of Burgundy Franche-Comté, leading research centers including the State Research Center "Institute of Immunology", Federal Medico-Biological Agency of Russia, N. N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, FSBSI "FIC of Original and Advanced Biomedical Technologies", Pasteur Institute (France), University of Strasbourg (France), Sorbonne University (France), and others, launched startups, and received grants from the Innovation Promotion Fund. Top students receive scholarships from the President of the Russian Federation and the Potanin Foundation. We develop and update the program annually; expert reviews from industrial and scientific partners are used for this purpose. We train specialists with advanced competencies in fundamental and applied drug development research, independent project management, drug commercialization, and legal compliance.
