In 2022, I graduated from the Master's program "Biology" in the profile "Innovative medicines", which is implemented jointly with the University of Franche Comté France. I spent one year in Russia, and the second year of study in France at the University of Burgundy. I had a serious motivation: such a two–degree program gave me the opportunity to study with the best teachers, use the experience and resources of two universities at once, and complete internships in two laboratories - in Russia and in France.Initially, I enrolled in another master's program at Sechenov University. There was no doubt about choosing a university, but I found out about the Biology program in the "Innovative Medicines" profile, thanks to which I could study in France for a year, after enrollment. I was lucky, as a result, I transferred to this program, as it seemed to me more interesting and promising, although difficult. But I had a serious motivation: such a two–degree program gave me the opportunity to study with the best teachers, use the experience and resources of two universities at once, complete internships in two laboratories - in Russia and in France.Thanks to the training, I was able to expand my knowledge, acquire practical skills in demand on the labor market and get acquainted with another culture. Such experience is a huge plus to your resume.

I was enrolled in masters of innovative drugs program in 2020 which gave me an intensive knowledge in molecular and functional imaging, molecular biology, pharmaceutical chemistry and scientific project management. As I graduated from Sechenov, I practiced as a medical laboratory scientist in my home country, Ghana. In Ghana, having a masters degree means an opportunity for second cycle tutorship. Even though I did not practice as a tutor, I applied my knowledge in solving clinical issues since I worked at the hospital. This programme exposed me to astute knowledge in high paper liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. The concentration of drugs in patients blood were analyzed and the effects were learnt. Personally, I joined in team-working, developed good personal relationships with professors and my project supervisor. I also had the opportunity to work in a research company during my research project. I had a great experience at Sechenov and will recommend all to apply. I chose Russia, specifically sechenov because I read the university is one of the outstanding medical universities that offer intensive clinical and practical training to students. The school has the best infrastructure to support students education. Their graduation ceremony is the best and professors are always available to assist students. There are scholarship opportunities of which I am a beneficiary. Cost of living is minimal and it is easy to live in the dormitory as a foreigner. Sechenov has great values to offer career-wise and personally.

Here I would like to take the opportunity to express my gratitude to the Russian Federation, as a great county, and the opendoor's program at the Ministry of Russian higher Education for granting me the master's scholarship in Drug innovation and development. I have chosen Russia to pursue the master's degree given it has a smooth and globally competitive education system. Life in Russia is comfortable, beautiful and cheap. Russians are pretty kind and helpful with foreigners. I have pursued my master program at the Sechenov University, and I chose it out of its great Scientific reputation in Russia. it's number one for medicine and medical sciences. The master program was intensively informative and training through which I had gained a lot of academic knowledge and professional skills in technical methods of drug innovation and development. This is was thanks for the experienced professors and the perfect teaching system at the Institute of pharmacy. The study at the University provided me with the scientific knowledge and enough skills that established a strong scientific foundation I need for my career as well as self-confidence. The course contained the basics of all disciplines that accompany the work on the appearance of LP, starting with the search for a target in the body, ending with preclinical testing and planning for scaling production. A wide range of bases for practice in and outside the institute allowed you to choose the appropriate one for your knowledge and interests.
